Who is Domenico?

Domenico DiBartolomeo knows food.   The son of a first generation Sicilian mother and second generation Italian father, Domenico was raised in an environment rich with a love and appreciation for great food, passed down through generations of old family recipes.  Domenico has taken that experience and knowledge and blended it with his own innovative view on all things culinary, resulting in Domenicos Artisanal Foods, a line of
mouthwatering products including  pestos, tapenades, fruit compotes, confit, stuffed peppers, sauces, fresh pasta and, of course, Domenico’s Pomodori Secchi, Domenico’s renowned marinated sun dried tomatoes.  Domenico’s ever-expanding product line, which has been called “addictive” by Bon Appétit Magazine, is the culmination of Domenico's passion for providing his customers with premium products and unparalleled customer service.

When he is not in the kitchen perfecting his products, Domenico consults and maintains relationships with some of the top food purveyors, restaurateurs and chefs in the world.  He also visits both national and international trade shows and is continually developing new and interesting products.  Domenico and his products have appeared in various media outlets including, television, print and the internet.  Domenico has appeared on The Food Network’s “Two Dudes Catering,” and has been featured on the foodie website www.eatdrinkordie.com.  In addition, his products have been touted in the Los Angeles Magazine's “The Food Lovers Guide to Los Angeles: 46 Great Ways to Please Your Palate”, and www.thefind.com.  Recently, Domenico’s products have been featured in Bon Appétit Magazine (March 2009), and Domenico appeared on the Food Network again -- this time on “At Home with Giada” with Giada De Laurentiis (Air date was June 27, 2009).
